A boat elevator is a heavy, unwieldy thing. The weight can be unevenly distributed and the centre of gravity is often offset. Once unbalanced, an elevator has a tendency to overturn. Reduce the risk of injury by installing the BLU system which is specially designed to avoid the risk of your elevator overturning during installation or retrieval.

BALLASTS

Controlled submersion and flotation
Constructed of durable, high-density, UV-resistant polyethylene, BLU ballasts are safely filled with air to raise the elevator, or with water to submerge it, through a controlled intake and exhaust system.
Designed to withstand cold temperatures, BLU ballasts remain installed on your elevator year-round, even through outdoor winter storage.

HOUSING

Secure installation
BLU ballasts are supported by ¼-inch marine-grade aluminum brackets, secured with stainless-steel hardware. Adaptable to most elevator models, the ballasts and housing can be fastened permanently to the elevator without affecting the position of the boat on the elevator.

VALVE BOX

Elegant and discreet
Then BLU valve box is mounted directly on your elevator and its check valve is specially designed for use with most 12V marine air pumps.

Easy to install
If your elevator is furnished with transport wheels, BLU system removable axles allow you to mount or uninstall these wheels dockside. Fittings are optional and offered at additional cost.
